The Mountain View District has an incredibly talented group of pastors (clergy) serving its churches.

CLERGY MEETINGS

The Mountain View District will hold three clergy meetings this year.

Our next clergy meeting is Saturday, January 10, 9 a.m. to noon on Zoom. as we continue to Celebrate our Wesleyan Roots.

We're very excited to have Dr. Ashley Boggan, General Secretary of the Commission on Archives and History and author of Wesleyan Vile-tality: Reclaiming the Heart of Methodist Identity and co author of Calling on Fire: Reclaiming the Method of Methodism with us for a plenary address and Q & A session.

To prepare for our time with Dr. Boggan, DS Sarah is requiring each clergy to read:

Wesleyan Vile-tality (see link below to order) and recommending Calling on Fire (see link below to order). Take notes as you read so you can ask the author in our time together on Jan 10!! If you need financial assistance for the purchase of books, please let DS Sarah know at mountainviewds@vaumc.org.

Registration is required - RSVP by Jan 8. You will receive the Zoom link by return email. All clergy are expected to attend and RSVP is required.
